Com uma curta viagem de carro a partir do centro de Takamatsu, chegará a um impressionante lugar sagrado, impossível de ser ignorado pelos amantes da Arquitetura e da História. É um lugar ótimo para quem deseja uma escapadela para fugir ao quotidiano. Na Aldeia Shikoku, encontram-se casas e outros edifícios tradicionais provenientes de vários pontos da ilha de Shikoku. Quase todos estes edíficios constituem património municipal, prefeitural ou nacional.

Shikoku Mura is located 6 kilometres east of the JR Takamatsu Station at 91 Yashima-Nakamichi in Takamatsu, Kagawa. The entrance fee is 800 yen for adults and there are student and group discounts available. (Photo: Laura MacLean)
