Strolling at Nakamise

A rainy holiday? But instead of going home, we decided to drop by Nakamise to remedy our disappointment from our canceled trip.

Nakamise (about 2 minutes on foot from the station) entertained us with colors from the long lines of shops that stretched to about 250-meters from north to the south. From flowers, dresses, jewelry, and shoes to sweets and pastries, among others, you will find practically everything you need and want here. It’s a one-stop shopping center designed to encourage an open-air market among the people. Hence, it's the best alternative for a canceled trip due to bad weather.
