Odaiba is a popular tourist spot located in Tokyo Bay. Originally a collection of man made islands created to protect Tokyo against attacks in the Edo Period (1603-1868), it has been a shopping and entertainment district since the 1990s. It is the place to go for world-class dining and leisure activities, and is renowned for its futuristic technologies. With masses of lights, restaurants, and a great view of the Rainbow Bridge, it’s a fantastic place to visit at night.

The Rainbow Bridge, which connects Odaiba to the rest of Tokyo, is an iconic symbol of the bay. At night, the bridge is illuminated, and, from the right angle, Tokyo Tower can also be seen lit up in the background. The bridge supports cars, trains and pedestrians.
