If you are interested in art, Otsuka Museum offers an incomparable opportunity. A beautiful modern building houses an extensive display of full size replicas of the world's most famous art throughout history. The ceramic panel reproductions are extremely durable, and could be used as a reference for restoration work on damaged art. Joins are visible in the larger artworks, but I'm not complaining. Most people will never see more than a few of these artworks in their original form during their lifetime, so a chance to see all this art life-size, beautifully arranged and lit, all in one place is something truly amazing.

Take as long as you want to appreciate the wonderful details!

To stand in front of a full size replica is a wonderful thing, vastly better than looking at artwork in a book or on TV

The wall color enhances the art

The larger works have visible joins in the ceramic panels, but it is still much better than only seeing it the art a book

The mosaics are displayed on the floor and you can walk over them as the original owners would have done

Listening to a short lecture in the Sistine Chapel room

You might never be able to visit Mont San Michel, but you can still admire its abbey windows

The Monet courtyard has large water lily paintings displayed on the walls

Taking a closer look at Picasso

The art is beautifully arranged and lit

Looking at so much art can be very tiring!
