Inside this museum it is possible to draw spring water from the tap. Some people from far away come here just to collect water

京都・伏見は兵庫・灘と並んで江戸の昔より日本酒製造における日本の中心的な存在であり続けている。その伏見にある「黄桜酒造」は歴史は新しいがいかにも２０世紀的な企業戦略で一躍全国に名を知られる銘醸蔵となった。TVコマーシャルで流れた「かっぱ黄桜」の歌とキャッチコピーは飲みやすい伏見の酒の美味しさを全国に知らしめた功績大である。「黄桜かっぱカントリー」では、そんな黄桜のイメージのかっぱを至極真面目に捉え資料収集したミュージアムがある。もちろん黄桜の清酒も試飲でき黄桜グッズも買える売店やレストランも備えている。訪れて楽しい。
