Bisen Fukuda (1875 - 1963) was a Japanese painter who was renowned for his landscape art pieces. Many of his works were believed to have been destroyed during World War II, but have been rediscovered in recent years. A special exhibition at the Himeji City Museum of Art looks into works created through his life, including depictions of Japanese national parks and the Fuji Five Lakes area to name just a couple.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 800 yen.
