On the island of Awajishima, a short ride by car or bus from Kobe, is the amazing 'Miracle Planet Museum of Plants'. Every winter, from mid-November to mid-January, the museum is decorated in an amazing Christmas display.
The Awaji Yumetai Koen Greenhouse "Awaji Green Hall," is undergoing renovations and will reopen on March 20, 2025.
Visit for the day or stay overnight at the lovely Westin Hotel next door. As part of the Awaji Yumebutai complex, there is plenty for visitors to see and do.
