I can never bike past the gates of unknown temples. I always have to stop and investigate, and I am often well rewarded for my curiosity! That is how I found Toun-ji in Machida. Toun-ji has two cute sweeper statues, and a lovely calm garden that had hydrangeas blooming when I visited..
